The second annual Providence Tango Baseball Field Trip - Pawtucket Red Sox will play the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs at Mc Coy stadium at 7:05 PM. Tickets are $11.00 each. Meet at PT before the game (5:30 - 6:45 PM) for a pot luck pre-game get together.  If you want to go, pay Bill by Friday, August 20.

Homer + Cristina will teach the Continuing Basics class.  Please come early to warm up! 
8:00 - 9:30 "Volcadas - The Basics"  This class will develop the foundation material for safe, fun, and musical volcadas of all kinds!  No volcada experience necessary, but if you have some we will refine and enhance it, promise!  This class is also a good brush up class for more experienced tango folks interested in taking the Wednesday Advanced Seminario!

Wednesday, September 29th: 
Special Advanced Seminar followed by Extended Guided Practica
7:00 – 8:30  "Volcadas and Beyond" - This very-advanced, fast-paced, and partner-only seminar is based on a similar workshop series developed in San Francisco (here you can see the specific details from our "Advanced Volcadas" seminar - http://tangostudent.blogspot.com/2009/03/advanced-volcadas.html).  In this East Coast "Advnaced Volcadas" seminar we will explore the various forms of suspended falling movements (or Volcadas) from common to extreme and creative ideas beyond...  Through the seminar the focus will be on a deeper understanding of the partner communication necessary to perform comfortable and musical suspended falling movements.  As a pre-requisite students must have at least 1 year of experience leading or following common forward and backward Volcadas.
