Monday Argentine Tango Fundamentals
6:30-8:00pm - Learn Tango in a fun and friendly atmosphere with our 12 week beginner series focusing on the essentials and basics of Tango. This is an ongoing progressive class. Anyone who has completed this series in the past is welcome to drop in and brush up on your basics and help the new beginers. If you are interested in learning Argentine Tango plan to joun us at our next Argentine Tango Fundamentals series starting June 3rd at 6:30pm. Until then drop by the free beginner class on Fridays at 7:30pm.

Monday Continuing Basics Class:
8:00pm - Essential Steps: Ochos of various types in preparation for Leading and Following Boleos with instructors Robin, Doria, Elizabeth and Steven. This class is suitable for dancers of all levels who would like to improve their techniqe, as well as everyone who has completed the 12 week Fundamentals Course

Friday May24: The Tango Incident Milonga with Visiting DJ Dennis Matthew

Dennis Mathew, a neuroscientist, is an avid student of the styles, techniques and, expressions of ‘Argentinean Tango’. His dancing has been heavily influenced by studying with Silvina Vals, Eric & Rebecca, Adam & Ciko and Robin Thomas, among others. Over the years, both his dancing and Djing style have slowly but surely evolved towards an exploration of connection between individuals.

Friday Prices + Discounts:
The Tango Incident Milonga $12 ($5 off with potluck contribution)
Full time students $10 for milonga, ($5 off with potluck contribution)

8:30-9:00 Practica (Free with Intro Lesson)
9:00-Midnight The Tango Incident Milonga

Friday format:
FREE Introductory Tango class every Friday from 7:30 - 8:30pm by our local instructors is followed by 1 hour of free practice time. Then the Tango INcident Milonga (Social dance) until 1:00am. Fourth Fridays is EXTENDED until 2:00 am with visiting instructor. See home page for weekly DJ and special events.

The Tango Incident

The Tango Incident Mionga is EVERY Friday and features the best traditional tango music and a healthy dose of alternative. Drop-ins are welcome. No partner necessary. Frequent guest DJs and Instructors (look above under special events for details about guest instructors and DJs).

7:30-8:30 pm FREE Introductory Argentine Tango class. Come as many times as you want. Rotating instructors.

8:30-9:00 Tango Practica Come practice your Tango with students of all levels free with either Friday class.

9:00 - Midnight The Tango Incident Milonga, $10 or $5 with potluck contribution (potluck contribution = a sweet or savory dish to share Please no chips without dips or crackers without cheese).

Prices for regular Friday Tango Incident:
Milonga $10 or $8 for students.
$5 off with potluck contribution.

Prices for 4th Friday EXTENDED Incident:
Intermediate class $15 ($10 for students)
Extended Milonga $15 or $10 with potluck contribution.
Class + Milonga for $25.
Full time students $10 for class $10 for milonga.

Practica

7:00 - 9:30 Every Wednesday

Come practice your tango in a casual atmosphere with students of all leves. No partner necessary. Teachers and other students are available to answer questions and help out. $5 varing local DJs.
